The G & T Show’s 19th episode is now available for downloading. This week Nick and Teri discuss Star Trek Vanguard: What Judgments Come by Dayton Ward and Kevin Dilmore, their choices of epicly bad Trek episodes, and the Kobayashi Maru. Ask Dayton returns this week with an epic question and a hilarious answer.

Teri announced the G & T Show’s new contest, Teri’s Fan Fic Contest, for a chance to win THE STAR TREK ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE collection on BLU-RAY dics! Since Nick is the only person in the entire galaxy that is not allowed to participate in this contest, so he’s planning his own contest of sheldon-esque proportions that Teri will be excluded from, so stay tuned for more details. BA- ZING-GA! Since Nick mentioned Big Bang Theory, it led to a discussion of bad pilots that spawned successful shows. They even outlined their vision of A Little House On The Prarie reboot series.

Since, Nick finished reading Star Trek Vanguard: What Judgments Come, they attempt to talk about it without offering too many spoilers. He is now reading James Swallow’s Star Trek: Cast No Shadow and offered a few details about the book. Teri’s Voyager watch through has been stalled yet again, despite Nick’s urgent desire for her to finish it so they can finally talk about Janeway, the series, and its finalle.  From here, they begin recollecting their least favorite episodes of Star Trek.  For Teri, that is the TNG episode Up The Long Ladder, while Nick despises the TOS episode Miri.

Teri’s husband Allen dops by the chat room as Nick goes on and on about his breakfast omelette before finally moving on to this week’s hilarious Ask Dayton with an epic question. They remind everyone to submit their Ask Dayton questions to hosts@gandtshow.com or to post them in our forums.

Chris Prestano’s OMG Cancer Summit is nearing the halfway for her fundraising goal to help people with Cancer attend their little convention.

Next, they talk about Zachary Quinto’s decision to come out of the closet on his blog and the interview he did on Star Trek.com about gay characters on Star Trek (part one and two). Then, Teri tells us about some of her favorite Slash Fiction pairings before the discussion turns to JJ’s upcoming Trek (they’re actually writing the script!), Spock and Uhura’s future, and ultimately the argument they shared over the Kobayashi Maru scenario.
