MAC Cosmetics has a huge and gorgeous vendor section. And their display looks like a bridge. They are doing makeovers and are having a great time. Plus they attended Comic-Con in San Diego, and premiered the 50th Anniversary Star Trek collection. Ashley admitted she was initially kind of nervous about the Trekkies. But everyone has been wonderful. And Ashley is a Trekkie, too!

Their Display

First off, the display took a long time to be put together. and their director combed through archival photographs to look at how people were made up. But they also wanted to see bridge sets, engineering sets, etc. MAC’s motto is all ages, all races, all sexes. And we think that sounds a lot like Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations!

Inspiration

Plus the MAC spaceship is just amazing. And the display boasts pieces of art depicting Seven of Nine, Deanna Troi, an Orion, and Lieutenant Nyota Uhura. Furthermore, their new makeup sets are based on these characters. These collections include eyelashes (so beautiful and fun!), lipsticks, lip glosses, highlighters, gold liners, and nail polishes.

Plus Terry Lynn got her own package and just loves it!

However, Ashley is not sure whether MAC will be going to any other Star Trek conventions in the future.

Plus they have red shirts, and a Seven of Nine cosplayer, a transporter, and more!

Then Fark showed up and of course he was captivated by Ashley! She says the best artists are at the convention to do cosplay and more traditional beauty.

And Ashley really likes working for the company. Plus she feels they are philanthropic-minded and very inclusive. And they are the only brand working with professional makeup artists. So they are committed to translating runway to real way.

Because of the explosion of cosplay, they see more men coming in. Plus they see men coming in, who just want to look less tired.

Ashley was so wonderful and gracious. Finally, a vendor serving the female side of fandom! Plus she feels the women of Star Trek are strong and empowered beauty icons.

Lipton Questions

Her favorite Trek series is TOS. So for her, it was about her family sitting down together to watch. And her favorite character is Uhura, who is strong and powerful and flirty. Plus she would call her starship the USS Spectacular. Finally, if she could kill off any main character, it would be any captain. Then she wants to see what would happen next.
