G & T Show 13 – I, Borg; Jean Luc Picard, Destiny, & More
The G & T Show episode thirteen is available for downloading. This week they discuss the TNG episode I, Borg; Jean Luc Picard, the Star Trek Destiny books (Gods of Night, Mere Mortals, and Lost Souls), and more. However, they start off the show with a song in honor of Teri’s birthday. Join us in wishing a very happy birthday to Terilynn! Then, they remember the events of 9/11 2001 before heading into other news. The football season (American) has begun.
Havraha, a community member has picked up his first Star Trek book. Nick purchased his own copy of James Swallow’s new book, Cast No Shadow, which he intends to begin reading once he finishes Christopher L. Bennett’s Department of Temporal Investigations: Watching the Clock. They remind everyone that the Book of the Month-ish Club is discussing Michael A. Martin’s Star Trek Online: The Needs of the Many. James Swallow joins the chat room.
During the discussion of the TNG episode: I, Borg, the conversation weaves around the Borg, Jean Luc Picard, the Star Trek Destiny triology, and more. Teri mentions some Star Trek Paths Not Taken by fan fiction author, TrekFan. Nick suggestions Andrew Robinson’s Star Trek Deep Space 9: A Stitch in Time.
They also want everyone to show their continued support for John de Lancie and Leonard Nimoy’s alienvoices.net. They answer a question about ebooks and recommend Amazon’s Kindle, which will soon be compatible with PDF, the format most fan fiction authors choose to publish their works.
Help Mary Czerwinski’s desire to Make Me Dehner in the next JJ Abrams film. Larry Nemecek’s Con of Wrath is in post production and needs your help to get the project finished. But, wait. There’s more.
He is the co-owner of Busy Little Beaver Productions and is the producer and co-host for G & T Show and Gates of Sto’vo’kor. He’s directed voice actors, and produced and edited audio podcasts and dramas because he doesn’t have the face for video. He plays well with others and is always on the look out for the next project, the next thing, the next next. If he wasn’t working on something with a half dozen other projects waiting in the wings, somebody please check to make sure he’s still breathing.
During the day, he’s a mild-mannered computer repair man who dabbles in web design in his small, rural, Central California community. He lives with his lovingly dysfunctional family and loyal canine companion and spends most of his time in the closet concocting some hair-brained scheme or another. He’s got an unhealthy obsession with Lego video games, Klingons, and Star Trek Online that borders on the neurotic.
Despite all this, he still finds the time to write the words. Find out what he's doing here.
