G & T Show 154 – So Many Books, So Little Time
G & T Show 154 – So Many Books, So Little Time is now available for downloading. Check it out here. This week Nick, Terry, and Mike are back with an all new show. With Nick and Terry struggling with exhaustion from a late night, Mike steps up and brings up a number of Star Trek News items. We discuss Star Trek Online, and what’s new with Convention News.
For Star trek News, we discussed a new Kickstarter for the Klingon Pop Warrior Music Project by Jen Usellis and congratulate Alec Peters for the successful funding of their Kickstarter for Star Trek: Axanar. We even talk about several of Star Trek celebrities that have completed the ALS Ice-Bucket Challenge, including Nick’s turn up at bat. The main discussion turns to books with Star Trek Seekers and then to a lengthy discussion of the various books Mike has read recently including Titan: Over A Torrent Sea, Titan: Synthesis, A Time To Die, Articles of the Federation, and Enterprise: The Good That Men Do. We also managed to squeeze in the discussion for the Book of the Celestial Temple Book Club into the show with a discussion of Typhon Pact: Zero Sum Game. We mentioned ships from the books and their respective appearance in STO and our hope for their eventual inclusion in the Starship Collection. And, for Convention News, in addition to Baltimore Comic Con, STLV, and Shoreleave News, we bring attention to Farragut Fest 2014. You don’t want to miss this show and all of the good stuff we have to talk about.

But, wait. There’s more.
He is the co-owner of Busy Little Beaver Productions and is the producer and co-host for G & T Show and Gates of Sto’vo’kor. He’s directed voice actors, and produced and edited audio podcasts and dramas because he doesn’t have the face for video. He plays well with others and is always on the look out for the next project, the next thing, the next next. If he wasn’t working on something with a half dozen other projects waiting in the wings, somebody please check to make sure he’s still breathing.
During the day, he’s a mild-mannered computer repair man who dabbles in web design in his small, rural, Central California community. He lives with his lovingly dysfunctional family and loyal canine companion and spends most of his time in the closet concocting some hair-brained scheme or another. He’s got an unhealthy obsession with Lego video games, Klingons, and Star Trek Online that borders on the neurotic.
Despite all this, he still finds the time to write the words. Find out what he's doing here.
