G & T Show 162 – Cheesy SciFi
G & T Show 162 – Cheesy SciFi is now available to download. Check it out here. This week Nick, Terry, and Mike are back. Adrianne joins us in the fun and later Steve drops by with an update from last week’s Destination Star Trek. We discuss Star Trek News, Star Trek Online, a new Ask Dayton, and more.
We kick the show off with the announcement with Mike’s trip to the land of enchantment and his ongoing visit to Terry’s house. Because he is working from a dated laptop, editing this week’s show hasn’t been up to his usual level. So please bare with us. For Coffee Clatch we discuss our latest writing projects as well as what we are currently reading.
We move on to Star Trek News and cover a wide range of topics. Nichelle Nichols introducing NASA’s Orion spacecraft in a video. Nicholas Meyer‘s thoughts on the JJ Abrams Star Trek films. We point to but don’t spend a lot of time discussing the article that suggested Turning Trek into the next Marvel Universe, since we regularly discuss the topic. Terry suggests everyone read the article telling the story of Star Trek Timelines. Finally, TNG’s reunion at New York Comic Con sparks a discussion of what Captains and crews would you invite to our Halloween Costume Party. You can find the links to the articles we’ve talked about below.
Moving on to Star Trek Online News, we reveal that STO’s Official Walkthrough video for Delta Rising has been released. We highly suggest everyone check that out since Delta Rising will be released soon. Massively released an article exploring STO’s story in Delta Rising. It’s a good read, so definitely check it out. We move into this week’s Ask Dayton.
We finish up the show with a report from Steve on his experiences from Destination Star Trek. Content that he obtained from the convention will be released once he recovered from the Con Crud. We have a lot of stuff to give away and request you share with us what kind of contests you would like us to hold for some of this cool stuff. Also, if you still want a HoloLeeta doff, we still have a lot of them to give away. Mike reminds everyone that our website fundraiser is still ongoing and we ask everyone to support us through a donation or by sharing our link.

But, wait. There’s more.
He is the co-owner of Busy Little Beaver Productions and is the producer and co-host for G & T Show and Gates of Sto’vo’kor. He’s directed voice actors, and produced and edited audio podcasts and dramas because he doesn’t have the face for video. He plays well with others and is always on the look out for the next project, the next thing, the next next. If he wasn’t working on something with a half dozen other projects waiting in the wings, somebody please check to make sure he’s still breathing.
During the day, he’s a mild-mannered computer repair man who dabbles in web design in his small, rural, Central California community. He lives with his lovingly dysfunctional family and loyal canine companion and spends most of his time in the closet concocting some hair-brained scheme or another. He’s got an unhealthy obsession with Lego video games, Klingons, and Star Trek Online that borders on the neurotic.
Despite all this, he still finds the time to write the words. Find out what he's doing here.
