G & T Show 20 – Creepiest Star Trek Episodes
The G & T Show episode 20 is now available for download. This week Nick and Teri discuss Star Trek’s creepiest episodes. So, if you’re looking for a list of episodes for a Halloween Star Trek marathon, we’ve got it. Join us in wishing Nick a happy birthday. For Halloween, Teri dared Nick to take a photo of him wearing a Skant at work, photos will follow. And be sure to enter Teri’s Fan Fiction Contest.
Next, Nick revealed his new contest, which ties in with the latest Star Trek Vanguard novel, What Judgment Comes. In the book, Lt. Commander Terry Shull is on board the USS Defiant (Tholian Web, TOS). We all know what happened to the ship, but no one really knows what happened to its crew. To enter the contest, you must submit a short story describing the demise of Lt. Commander Terry Shull. The contest is open to everyone in the galaxy, except for Teri. Nick will select the winner and commission a talented artist to create a caricature of the winner in a scene with their favorite Star Trek crew member. Be sure to enter Nick’s Kill Terry Shull contest. It ends December 31st at 11:59pm.
Teri revealed that Michael A. Martin has contacted them to be interviewed for a future episode of the G & T Show – more details will follow later. Then Keith R. A. DeCandido will be interviewed soon. So if you have questions for either author, feel free to email them [email protected] or post them on our forums here and here.
They move on to this week’s Ask Dayton #5 – Bacon Explosion! Find the recipe Dayton described here. But, wait. There’s more.
He is the co-owner of Busy Little Beaver Productions and is the producer and co-host for G & T Show and Gates of Sto’vo’kor. He’s directed voice actors, and produced and edited audio podcasts and dramas because he doesn’t have the face for video. He plays well with others and is always on the look out for the next project, the next thing, the next next. If he wasn’t working on something with a half dozen other projects waiting in the wings, somebody please check to make sure he’s still breathing.
During the day, he’s a mild-mannered computer repair man who dabbles in web design in his small, rural, Central California community. He lives with his lovingly dysfunctional family and loyal canine companion and spends most of his time in the closet concocting some hair-brained scheme or another. He’s got an unhealthy obsession with Lego video games, Klingons, and Star Trek Online that borders on the neurotic.
Despite all this, he still finds the time to write the words. Find out what he's doing here.
