Better late than never!

So, this episode kind of got lost in the weeds during various vacations and whatnot. Because it’s the whatnot you have got to watch out for.

As might be obvious, the big excitement centers around the upcoming television series. Since Star Trek Discovery looks really neat and different, the gang are getting psyched. And of course, some folks want more of a nostalgic look back. But hey, that’s fine!

Because Star Trek is a big tent. And we can all fit under it! Peace, harmony, and sehlats!

As always, there were a ton of interesting links. Yet you may want to take a look at some of our more recently-added links as those are going to be more up to date.

General News

First of all, All the Star Trek captains boldly go onto postage stamps. Except if you love Star Trek, you’re gonna be annoyed not living in Canada. Speaking of Canada, a Star Trek-Inspired License Plate was Revoked, Deemed Offensive.

In addition, outside of Canada (!), Star Trek legend to race at Silverstone. Also, Star Trek Icon William Shatner to Take Zero-G Flight in August. And continuing in the TOS vein, Takei Returns to the NYC Stage in Pacific Overtures. Finally, Watch: Picardo & Planetary Society Join the March for Science.

Television News

Also, as might be expected, Discovery dominated the news.

First of all, Star Trek: Discovery cast adds Shazad Latif, Rekha Sharma, Kenneth Mitchell, Clare McConnell and Damon Runyan. And there was good news for Star Trek: Discovery, no writers strike!  Furthermore, New Star Trek: Discovery Cast Members Hint At Tricky Diplomacy With The Klingon High Council.

Plus Star Trek: Discovery set for fall debut.Bryan Fuller Says Diversity Is Integral To Star Trek: Discovery. Finally, Clare McConnell opens up about playing a Star Trek Discovery Klingon.

Gaming News

Now, while some of this is kind of older news, you can always click through and check out the updates.

First of all, Star Trek Timelines mobile game debuted Borg-themed mega-event on May 4. And we were curious to see How Star Trek: Timelines Will Make the Borg Scary Again. Then there was Star Trek: Bridge Crew – the four-player VR game boldly goes where no game has gone before.

Yet the rest are older and out of date links so I will just list them.

Back in May, you could win a Free Cabin on Star Trek: The Cruise II. Also, there was the Star Trek: Ascendancy Borg Assimilation Preview. Plus the Attack Wing Wave 30- I.K.S. Koraga (Repaint) Preview. And did you get a chance to take advantage of the Mirrors and Smoke Week 2 Rewards? Finally, Star Trek Online Fiction – Fusion came out.

Book News

Finally, book news was all about Free Comic Book Day. And the first two links are to two articles about the same review.

First of all we saw the Free Comic Book Day Review – Star Trek: TNG – Mirror Broken Review FCBD 2017.  In addition, there was the Free Comic Book Day: Star Trek: The Next Generation: Mirror Broken, Scott Tipton.
