G & T Show STLV 2015 Coverage – Federation of Beer Interview
The interview opens with Terry Lynn asking about The Wrath of Khan.
But that reminds one of … beer?
A Genesis Effect beer?
They are creating the Orion Seductress Sindicate Lager this year. What’s the next beer? How about something red, Canadian, and hoppy? Could that be the Genesis Effect?
Their last two were a Vulcan Ale and a Klingon Warnog.
Their beer is brewed in the Czech tradition! Do you love a good Czech lager? You probably had one if you have been to Germany recently.
Sales of their tee shirts and brew have been great. They are selling their beer a few blocks away, at the Voodoo Lounge. It’s also available at Rocco’s Pizza in Seattle. Gary’s of Henderson, Nevada carries it retail. In Canada, Sobe’s Liquor and other chains have it, such as Liquor Barn, which is also in Kentucky. It can also be ordered online via their website. This is an economic option versus purchasing at the convention, as luggage weight fees can be high. It’s less expensive to just order online.
As fans, they’ve got memorabilia and enjoy seeing other fans’ collections. Their goal for next year is to have a beer in every state and every province. They want to be a part of the 50th Anniversary celebration, with a national celebration that is also, truly, local.
They end the interview talking about favorite Star Trek films, including First Contact.
