G & T Show 300 – Groovy Sarek Visions And Other Stranger Things
Groovy Sarek Visions
G & T Show 300 – Groovy Sarek Visions And Other Stranger Things is now available to download. Check it out here. Nick and Mike are joined by Steve this week. First they celebrate their 300th episode of the G & T Show. Then, they talk about The Orville, Discovery, Stranger Things, and more in the Groovy Sarek Visions And Other Stranger Things episode of the G & T Show. Tune in and join in the fun in this week’s episode of the G & T Show.
First, they begin by acknowledging the 300th episode of the G & T Show. Nick reveals that he and Bill from Trek Geeks had been planning and laying the ground work for 24 Hours of G & T. However, with the cancellation of the fundraiser and the 24 Hour show, Nick spills the beans on what they had been doing for the last several months.
Then, they shift gears to Coffee Klatch. Mike has finished reading Solar Reboot by Matthew D. Hunt and has started Dave Mack’s Discovery novel: Desperate Hours. He really enjoyed Solar Reboot by an Indie film maker turned novelist. The story was originally a television series pitch. He expanded it to a full novel. Mike loved the book and recommends everyone check it out. He also mentions that Indie writers need all of the help getting the word out about their work since they do not have the backing of a big publisher to handle the heavy lifting for them. Pick up Solar Reboot and Dave Mack’s Discovery Novel on Amazon.
Social Media Run Amok
Next, Nick and Mike discuss the latest episode of The Orville. The episode dealt with Social Media run amok and how it can influence people even with fake news. It was a lively discussion that quickly covers the highlights for the episode and some of the societal topics worthy of analysis. .
Other Stranger Things
Also, they touch on a few other shows in Groovy Sarek Visions before moving on to the second season of Stranger Things. Mike watched the second season already, but Nick has not. Mike offers his spoiler-free impressions of the season and mentions a few things that he liked about it. Nick is looking forward to seeing it.
Then, the conversation shifts from Stranger Things to Halloween and how it has changed since they were young compared to what it is now. For Mike’s niece and nephews, Halloween is a week long event with multiple nights of Trick or Treating at very specific places and times, all of which are before dark.
Groovy Sarek Visions
Finally, they get to their point by point analysis of Star Trek Discovery’s Lethe, the episode that aired last Sunday night. Groovy Sarek Visions were in full effect this week as they discuss Lorca, Stamets, Burnham, Admiral Cornwell, and Cadet Tilly. Nick offers some criticism on the show’s divergence from “proper military procedure”, while Mike mentions some of the speculation that he’s seen on social media regarding Stamets, Lorca, Burnham, Sarek, and the Vulcan suicide bomber.
Gimme A Break
Then, Nick fills everyone on their upcoming plans. They are going to take the rest of the year off from the G & T Show. Retooling the show, getting new co-hosts, and making some other necessary changes to the studio and the show are all on the docket for the remainder of the year. They invite everyone back in 2018 when they relaunch the updated G & T Show.
Finally, Mike thanks everyone for joining them and helping them reach 300 episodes. He is excited and looking forward to whatever the future holds. They couldn’t have gotten this far without their listeners and fans. He wishes them all the best before concluding this week’s episode of the G & T Show.

But, wait. There’s more.
He is the co-owner of Busy Little Beaver Productions and is the producer and co-host for G & T Show and Gates of Sto’vo’kor. He’s directed voice actors, and produced and edited audio podcasts and dramas because he doesn’t have the face for video. He plays well with others and is always on the look out for the next project, the next thing, the next next. If he wasn’t working on something with a half dozen other projects waiting in the wings, somebody please check to make sure he’s still breathing.
During the day, he’s a mild-mannered computer repair man who dabbles in web design in his small, rural, Central California community. He lives with his lovingly dysfunctional family and loyal canine companion and spends most of his time in the closet concocting some hair-brained scheme or another. He’s got an unhealthy obsession with Lego video games, Klingons, and Star Trek Online that borders on the neurotic.
Despite all this, he still finds the time to write the words. Find out what he's doing here.
