May 2017 Games, Models, and Action Figures

Also, we were delighted to learn about a new version of Monopoly. Apparently, according to io9, you can play this bilingual Star Trek Monopoly game in Either English or Klingon. In addition, TrekToday reported on the game.

ThinkGeek’s version of Star Trek Monopoly comes complete with Klingon-style gaming tokens. Retails for $39.99.

Also, bid him up! William Shatner auctions a Star Trek figure flown on a NASA mission. Collectspace reports the figure is a part of Shatner’s Charity Horse Show silent online auction, which runs from May 1 to June 4, 2017. Proceeds benefit over 25 causes and nonprofit organizations.

In addition, we always love seeing the NCC-1701! ThinkGeek offers this 11-inch-long collectible for $74.99 to dress up any shelf or desk.

Furthermore, both StarTrek.com and Trek Today reported on Tiki Tiki Totems with a Star Trek theme. Entertainment Earth will sell them for $8.99 apiece, starting in July of 2017.

May 2017 Collecting

So do you like to collect stamps? Canada is releasing seven stamps for Star Trek fans. The stamps feature all five captains, plus a Borg cube and the Galileo shuttlecraft.

Maybe coins are more your speed? Trek Today reported that Australia recently released a Star Trek coin. The Perth Mint offers a Mirror, Mirror silver coin featuring Spock with and without a goatee. Apparently only three thousand of these coins will be minted. Furthermore, the Mirror, Mirror coin will cost $77.90 US/$104.55 Aus. To order it, go here.

Prefer your coins from Canada? The Royal Canadian Mint is issuing a coin featuring the five captains and another one with a Borg cube, according to Star Trek.com. So the captains coin retails for $194.95 Canadian and the Borg coin goes for $112.95 Canadian. Also reported by Coin World.

Like your bloodwine in a glass? Star Trek.com offers a new Klingon 22oz. Mug. Retails for $19.95. Note: not microwave safe.

Or how about a glass for a college kegger? Star Trek.com has a Property of Starfleet Academy 16 ounce stein. Retails for $12.95.

Christmas

It’ll be here before you know it, so we’ve got the first line on the 2017 Star Trek Christmas ornaments from Hallmark. As reported by Trek Today, the ornaments feature Data and Captain Picard from TNG (retails for $29.95) and the USS Franklin (retails for $32.95), which lights up.

And finally, we learned that the 2017 Rittenhouse women of Star Trek 50th anniversary trading cards include 1st Vanessa Williams autograph cards. Beckett.com reports that Rittenhouse offers 24 packs per box with 5 cards per pack. No price yet; scheduled to come out this summer.

McFarlane Toys has inked a deal for Star Trek, including Discovery. As reported by StarTrek.com, Redshirts Always Die, and Trek Movie, McFarlane will make figures, including of Sonequa Martin-Green, who they already have a mold for (they make her Walking Dead figure).
