Product News Roundup October 2017

In October 2017, we covered a bevy of Star Trek and geek-related products. However, we may have gone over them a little too quickly, or maybe you didn’t get a chance to see the pictures?

The G & T Show - Product News October 2017

The G & T Show – it’s all about story, characters, and Star Trek

Yet you need not worry. Because we have got you covered.

So the range of products is just exceptional. And these are just a handful! Star Trek Discovery in particular is being celebrated, plus there was great TNG merchandise, too.

October 2017 Apparel

First of all, there was yet another influx of apparel, mainly from Discovery. So let’s start with ANOVOS.

So both the Trek Collective and StarTrek.com reported on new Discovery uniforms coming from ANOVOS. Available for preorder, and expected in 2019, these unis are coming out in the summer of 2018. Plus they come in sizes S – XXL and cost $500.00. However, you can currently pre order them for $425.00 at ANOVOS.

In addition, for more modest budgets, we saw tees with both long and short sleeves, and hoodies.

StarTrek.com offers several hoodies. First of all, the Star Trek Discovery Starfleet Hoodie and the Star Trek Discovery Starfleet Zip Hoodie both retail for $49.95 and come in Navy, slim fit, sizes S – XXL.

In addition, from StarTrek.com, there’s the ever-dreamy Captain Lorca tee shirt. So it retails for $24.95 and comes in black or white, sizes S – XXL. G & T Show | Star Trek Product Roundup October 2017 | Lorca Tee Except we have no idea whatsoever why his tee shirt has a saying from Benjamin Sisko on it. So if you’re listening out there, license holders – how about a Captain Lorca tee shirt with his expression, “Context is for kings?” Just sayin’.

Even More Discovery Apparel

Plus we also caught wind of some terrific Pride tee shirts! We found Discovery Pride Embossed tee shirts in both men‘s and women‘s sizes, S – XXL (women’s is slim fit so order a size up), priced at $24.95. There is a second product number for both women‘s and men‘s pride tees, but I’ll be damned if I can figure out the difference between those and the first pair, which are pictured, below.
