Welcome to the 24 Hours of G & T: Hour 9 – Trial of the Century: 5 Year Mission vs. Trek Geeks

Due to infringement and the improper use of his music and good name, Andy Fark, the drummer from the band Five Year Mission, brought suit against Dan Davidson of the Trek Geeks podcast.

Our Guests This Hour

Because Andy unexpectedly took ill (we hope you’re better!), Bill Smith of the Trek Geeks podcast was made an honorary member of the band. This twist added a dollop of a domestic dispute to this rather serious matter.

In order to assure proper procedure was adhered to, last year’s Grand Prize winner, Robert Reyes, donned the Sweater of Truth (TM) and served as our bailiff.

Madame Chief Justice jespah put on her judicial robes and banged the Gavel of Justice (TM), and it was on like Donkey Kong!

Prizes and Winner This Hour

So the hour would not be complete without prizes and a winner! We always give prizes to the biggest donor for any given hour and this one was no exception.

And our big winner this hour was Karen O’Shea! Karen won the following:

  • LLAP Vulcan Salute Air Freshener (Vanilla) (courtesy of Terry)
  • IDW Comics Signed by JK Woodward (courtesy of JK Woodward)
  • Trek Aluminum Water Bottle (courtesy of Janice Sanborn)
  • Assorted IDW Comics (courtesy of CBS Products)
